HOPE Bolathon Charity Fun Run & Masquerade Walk 2014

HOPE Bolathon Charity Fun Run & Masquerade Walk 2014 is a charitable, fun & sports-themed event, inspired by this year’s FIFA World Cup. Its objective is to bring family and friends together for a fun & memorable time, and raise funds for HOPE worldwide Malaysia’s Community Programs for the underprivileged which focuses on Health, Food & Education.

  • Arrival Time       : 6:00am onwards
  • Flag off Time     : 7:30am (10km Fun Run) | 7:45am (3km Masquerade Walk)
  • Fees(Donations) : RM25.00 (7-15 years) | RM55.00 (16 years and above)
    *Please be informed that there will be a total of RM3.50 Convenient fee charged for each registration*

Runner's Entitlement:

1. Participant is entitled to a T-shirt

  • Participants aged 16 years and above, who donate RM 55.00 for charity will be entitled to either participate in 10km fun run or 3km masquerade walk.
  • Participant aged 7 – 15 years who donate RM 25.00 for charity will be entitled to participate in 3km masquerade walk only.
  • Free admission for children aged 6 years old and below but they will not be eligible to receive t-shirt and etc. Therefore, NO registration is required.


1. 10KM Fun Run is open to all participants of age 16 and above.
2. 3KM Masquerade Walk is open to all participants aged 7 years old and above.
3. Free admission for children aged 6 years old and below but they will not be eligible to receive the t-shirt and etc
4. Any online registration that is not followed with online payment will become invalid registration. Therefore please ensure to pay online when you register online.No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple registration.
5. The decision of the organizers is final when accepting entries. The organizers have the right to refuse an entry without having to disclose a reason.
6. An additional convenient fee of RM3.50 is charged for each entry registration.

Race Kit

  • A race kit consist of T-shirt, number bib, safety pins and race guide(if any).

Race kit Collection

  • Race kit distribution will commence as per details below.

Venue  : No.26-4 (4th Floor), Jalan 14/48A, Sentul Raya Boulevard, Sentul, 51100, Kuala Lumpur.

1. For collection on behalf, please provide an Authorisation Letter together with photocopy of IC

2. Please take note that upon closure of the distribution hall on Saturday, 31st May 2014, all the uncollected race kits will be deemed as unwanted and therefore become the property of the organizers. The organizers reserves the right to dispose or redistribute the race kits in any manner deemed appropriate.

3.There will be NO distribution of race kits on the race day.

4. For collection of 10 race kit and above, please email your bulk collection name list ( full name and IC number of each participant) to icare@hooha.asia. Please ensure to submit the authorization letter for each participants listed in the bulk collection name list at the bulk collection counter on the race kit collection day.

Tax Exemption Receipt

  • Tax Exemption Receipt will only be provided upon request, please email your NAME (as per I/C) & I/C No to caesarteh@hopeww.org.my upon confirmation of your online registration. 

Lucky Draw

  • There will be a lucky draw conducted during the event day with random pick of winners using the race bib number.

Closing date of registration

  • 9.00am on Monday 19th May 2014 or upon reaching maximum of 3,000 participants


  • There will be NO Baggage Handling services during the event day.



The organizer reserve the right to amend the run & walk route as they deem fit for the safety of the participant and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the event, at any time without prior notice to the participant. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the participant prior to the date of the event. The organizer shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.

The organizers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the event of heavy rain or thunder storm or extreme weather condition. Should the heavy rain, thunder storm or extreme weather condition persist after delay, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the race without any refund. In the event of  heavy rain or thunder storm or catastrophic or natural disaster resulting in a postponement or cancellation of the above event, the organisers shall not be held responsible for any claims including refund whatsoever in any form made by any individual or parties concerned.

Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organizer to ensure the participant safety,participants run at their own risk and the organizer will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for or during participation in the race.Participants are strongly encouraged  to go for a medical examination and or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.

The organizer reserves the right to use any photograph (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the event taken before, during and after the event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors.

Organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse entry.
