  • 5.7KM(category N) Fun run is open to all participants of ages 7 years and above

7. Finisher Medal : Everyone who completes the 22km, 9.3km, 5.7km(category K & M) and 5.7km(category N) will receive finisher medals.

8. T-Shirt : All participants runner will receive a t-shirt during numbers collection.

9. Certificates

  • 22km, 9.3km & 5.7km(category K & M) runners will also receive the E-certificate within 30 days from the event day.
  • 5.7km(category N) runners will receive a participation certificate upon completing their race at the finishing line.

11. Registration Center

  • NO Regsitration will be entertained on event day

  • Online Registration- www.hooha.asia
    • Any online registration that is not followed with online payment will become invalid registration. Therefore please ensure to pay online when you register online.

Note:

  • No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple registration.
  • Substitution and changing of categories is NOT allowed. Therefore please ensure to select the category that you are eligible to participate in, correctly. Otherwise you will have to re-register.
  • Entries close on 30/9/2014 (Tuesday) or upon reaching 5,000 participants.

 

12. Race-kit Collection

RM10 penalty charges will apply to:

  • Collection on either than the dates stipulated above
  • Collection without prior agreement and arrangement.

!Note: Strictly no collection on event day no matter what reason it is.

Please take note that upon closure of the distribution hall on SATURDAY, 18th October 2014, all the uncollected race kits will be deemed as unwanted and therefore become the property of the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to dispose or redistribute the race kits in any manner deemed appropriate.

14. Timing System (Half Marathon and 10km Runners only)

  • Please ensure you receive a timing device attached to your number bib with your race kit and verify the details at the timing system booth.

15. Registration Closing Date

  • 5.00pm Tuesday 30 September 2014 or upon reaching 5,000 participants.

16. Prize Giving

  • All prize winners must produce their identity card or passport for age verification.
  • If you are foreigner then you must produce work permit together with your passport.
  • Winners must ensure to collect their cash awards after the race and upon announcement of results.
  • All uncollected cash awards will be forfeited.
  • The  first three winners in each category will receive their trophies and mock cheques during prize giving ceremony.
  • Only 1st to 10th prize winners will be announced on the race day.  

17. Refreshment / Sponging Stations

  • Refreshment and sponging stations will be located at distances according to IAAF and MAF rules.

18. Winners Age Verification

  • All cash prize winners must present your identity card (Malaysian) or passport (Foreigners) for age verifications at the Technical Secretariat Centre. 

19. End of Competition

  • The Half Marathon will be officially over, 3 hours 30 minutes from start time.

20. A runners guide will be issued during race kit collection.

21. The organizers reserves the right to use any photograph (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings or any other media records of the event taken before, during and after the event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors.

22. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organizers to ensure the participants safety, participants run at their own risk and the organizers will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for or during participation in the race. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.

23. The organizers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the even of heavy rain  or thunderstorm or extreme weather condition. Should the heavy rain, thunderstorm or extreme weather condition persist after delay, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the race without any refund. In the event of heavy rain or thunderstorm or catastrophic or natural disaster resulting in postponement or cancellation of the above event, the organisers shall not be held responsible for any claims whatever in any form made by any individual or parties concerned.

24. The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the race to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to him/her.
