The Charity Walk Together 2015 (“Event”) is organised by UOA Group (“Organiser”).

1. Eligibility

  • Age qualification will be taken as at 31 December 2015.
  • The non-competitive Event is open to all Malaysians and expatriates with a Malaysian working permit and also their immediate family members.
  • Registration fee is applicable to participants aged between 5 and 80 years old


2. Participation Medal

  • The medal will be distributed to all participants at the finish line.
  • No claims will be entertained thereafter.


3. Light Refreshments

  • Light refreshments will be distributed to all participants upon completion of the Event.


4. Registration

  • There are 2 modes of registration for the Event:
    • Online registration at 
    • Walk-in registration at Information Counter, Ground Level, Nexus,  Bangsar South City, No. 7, Jalan Kerinchi, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Important Notes:

a) Any online registration that is not followed by online payment will automatically become an invalid registration. Therefore, please ensure payment is made online when you register online.
b) Registration is non-transferable and is only valid upon receipt of full registration fee.
c) Cash registration via mail will not be accepted.
d) No refund will be made for cancellations.
e) Postal entries will not be accepted.
f) The decision of the Organiser is final when accepting entries.  The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entries at its discretion.


5.  Goodie Bag

  • Each participant will be entitled to a goodie bag that consists of a T-Shirt and a RM10 Nexus Gift Voucher.

  • Venue : Information Counter, Ground Level, Nexus, Bangsar South

i. To collect your goodie bag, please bring the printout of your confirmation email and your identification card (IC).
ii. You may appoint a representative to collect your goodie bag on your behalf.  The representative must present the following:

a) Printout of your confirmation email
b) Letter of authorisation signed by you. Download here
c) Appointed representative’s IC
d) Photocopy of your IC

Important Notes:

a) T-Shirt sizes are subject to availability. There is no guarantee that your ordered size will be available. Once chosen, any request for changes in T-Shirt sizes will not be entertained.
b) For participants who did not indicate their size choices, their T-Shirt sizes will be assigned by the Organiser.
c) Uncollected goodie bags will be deemed as unwanted and will be disposed or re-distributed by the Organiser accordingly.

d) There will be NO distribution of goodie bag on Event day.

8. Closing Date for Registration

9 September 2015 or upon reaching 2,000 participants, whichever comes first.


9. All proceeds from the Event will be donated to charitable home(s)/centre(s) selected by the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to distribute the proceeds to its chosen charitable home(s)/centre(s) at its discretion.


10. All participants must ensure that they are medically and physically fit to participate in the Event. Participants are strongly advised to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the date of the Event. The Organiser reserves the right to disallow any participants who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the Event.


11. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser to ensure the safety of participants, participation in the Event is at the participants’ own risk and the Organiser shall not be liable for any death, injury, loss  or damage arising from participation in the Event. Families participating in the Event are requested to watch over their children and to be personally responsible for their safety. Walkers are also advised to be watchful of the safety of other walkers.


12. Pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel-run objects are not allowed on the Event’s walk route.


13. The Organiser reserves the right to change the date and/or time of the Event, or cancel the Event at any time without prior notice to the participants. If the Event has to be cancelled, there shall be no refund and all proceeds will still be channelled to the charitable home(s)/centre(s) selected by the Organiser. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.


14. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event taken before, during and after the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising, publicity and distribution to sponsors.


15. The Organiser reserves the right to change any of the rules and regulations of the Event as it deems necessary without prior notice to ensure the success of the Event.
