Eligibility

  • Larian Hari Malaysia MAKSAK 2015shall be conducted under the rules of MAF and also a set of competition rules.
  • This competition is open to all Malaysians only.
  • Age qualification will be taken as at 31 December 2015.
  • The 10km Individual categories are open  to participants aged 16 years and above.
  • The 5km Fun Run is open to participants of 7 years of age and above.

 

Results

  • The results of the individual and team categories (A – E) will be verified by FTKLAA and their decision is final.

Prize Winners

  • All prize winners must produce their identity card for age verification.
  • Winners must ensure to collect their cash awards after the race and upon announcement of results. All uncollected cash awards will be forfeited.

 

Finisher Medal

  • Finisher Medals will be distributed at the finish line to all participants who completes their run on the event  day.
  • No claims will be entertained thereafter.

 

Certificate

  • E-Certificate will be made available after 7 days from the event day for participants of the competitive categories (A – E) to download.
  • As for the Fun Run (F), Certificates will be distributed at the finish line to all fun run category participants.
  • No claims will be entertained thereafter.

Note :

  • Any online registration that is not followed with online payment will become invalid registration
  • Therefore please ensure to pay online when you register online.
  • No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple registration.
  • Substitution and changing of categories is NOT allowed, so please select the category you’re eligible to sign up according to the age qualification. Otherwise you will have to re-register.
  • Postal entries are not accepted.
  • The decision of the Competition Committee is final when accepting entries.  The organizers have the right to refuse an entry without having to disclose a reason.

 

Race Kit

  • For 10 Km-Runners, A race kit shall consist of a Brooks t-shirt, a number bib attached with timing chip, safety pins and race guide(if any).
  • 5 Km runners shall receive a Brooks t-shirt, a number bib, safety pins and race guide(if any) within their race kit.

     

Race Kit Collection

  • Venue  : Ground Floor, Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, Presint 4, Putrajaya.
  • Date      : Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August 2015
  • Time      : 10.00am to 6.00pm
  • Please be advised that sizes of the running vest size are limited. Distribution will be carried out on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • All the race kits without any special arrangement with the organizer and not collected during the stipulated collection date, will be deemed as unwanted and the Organizers shall be at liberty to dispose or re-distribute them accordingly.
  • Any late collection of race kit(s) without prior agreement/arrangement with the organizer will be charged RM 10.00 per race kit as the late collection fee. So, please ensure to collect the race kit on the stipulated collection days.
  • There will be NO distribution of kits on race day.
  • For collection of 10 race kit and above, please email your bulk collection name list (full name and IC number of each participant) to icare@hooha.asia latest by Friday 21 August 2015. Please ensure to submit the authorization letter for each participants listed in the bulk collection name list at the bulk collection counter on the race kit collection day.
  • Outstation runners (outside Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor) who require special arrangement for race kit collection, please drop us as an email at icare@hooha.asia latest by Friday 21 August 2015.

 

The organizer reserves the right to use any photograph (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the event taken before, during and after the event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors.

The organizers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the event of heavy rain or thunder storm or extreme weather condition. Should the heavy rain, thunder storm or extreme weather condition persist after delay, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the race without any refund. In the event of heavy rain or thunder storm or catastrophic or natural disaster resulting in a postponement or cancellation of the above event, the organisers shall not be held responsible for any claims whatsoever in any form made by any individual or parties concerned.

Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organizer to ensure the participants safety, participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.

2)         ENTRY INTO THE STARTING AREA ENCLOSURES

2.1       Participants are required to enter the start area enclosures (barricaded area right behind the start arch), 30 minutes before the start time according to categories.
 

2.2       Once you have entered, you will not be allowed to leave the enclosures.

2.3       Late arrival for the start will not be entertained.
 

3)         RACE NUMBERS BIBS

3.1       Pin your number bib prominently as high as possible – and attach them to the front of the Runners’ Tee with the safety pins that have been provided. Please ensure that the number bib is visible.

3.2       Tampering with the race number bib in any way (e.g. obscuring/removing sponsor’s identification) will result in your disqualification.

 

4)         SUBSTITUTION & NON-REGISTERED RUNNERS

Important: Transferring of your number bib to any other runners will result in an automatic disqualification. Only registered runners are eligible to take part in the race. Substitution is not allowed.

 

5)         PERSONAL BELONGINGS

5.1       Your personal belongings are to be left in the Luggage Canopy (Item no.10 within the venue layout) and a luggage tag will be issued by the officers. This tag must be reproduced in order to re-collect your belongings.

5.2       Limit your personal belongings to the barest essentials. Do not leave fragile or valuable belongings in your bags.

5.3       Special Attention: The participants are depositing their luggage/personal belonging at the luggage canopy at their own risk and the participants are expected to pick up your baggage before the center closes at 9.30am.

 

6)         PARKING FACILITIES

            6.1       Runners are advised to park at the designated car parks. Please refer to the parking map. It is also very close to the start/finish area.

            6.2       Parking at undesignated car park areas will not fall under the responsibilities of the Organizer.

            6.3       Please avoid leaving valuables in the car.

6.4       Even though reasonable measures will be taken to ensure the safety of the car, the Organizer will not responsible for any mishaps.

 

7)         TOILETS

7.1       Mobile Toilets will be stationed as indicated within the Venue Layout.

 

8)         FINISHING MEDALS  

            8.1       Finisher Medals will be distributed at the finish line to all participants who completes their run on the event day.

            8.2       No claims will be entertained thereafter.

 

9)         CERTIFICATES

9.1       E-Certificate will be made available after 7 days from the event day for participants of categories (A – E) to download

            9.2       Certificates will be distributed at the finish line for Category H.

            9.3       No claims will be entertained thereafter.

 

10)       RUNNING ROUTES

10.1     Routes are not completely closed, even though it’s manned by route marshals. Lanes will be dedicated for runners by using cones when necessary. Please abide by the instruction by the Traffic Police officer and route marshals at all times.

 

13)       DRINK STATIONS

            13.1     3 drink stations will be set at about 2 km, 5km and 7.5km mark on the 10km running route set for the competitive categories.

            13.2     1 drink stations will be set at about 2.5km for the 5km fun run route. 

 

14)       MEDICAL AID

            14.1     There will be medical personnel within an ambulance patrolling the runner’s route

14.2     All injured runners will be brought to the sick bay at the venue where the doctor will diagnose the severity of the injury. Rub-down and crams which is part of hands-on medical examination during the progress of an event will be made available by the medical team on duty.

14.3     Also be informed, runners shall retire at once from the race if ordered to do so by the authorized medical personnel’ appointed by the medical committee.

            14.4     Any runner with health problems, please inform the doctor in charge at sick bay at the venue.
